GPID is divided into 5 divisions. Each director serves a 3-year term. Elections are by mail-in ballot and are held on the 2nd Tuesday in November.

Division #1: Jim Huttema has been on the Board of Directors since December 2018. Jim’s current terms ends 12/31/2027.

Division Boundaries: All lands lying within the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District in Jackson County, Oregon, extending Westerly to the intersection of the South bank of the Rogue River with the Grants Pass Parkway; thence to the intersection of the Grants Pass Parkway with the West right-of-way line of Parkdale Drive; thence Southerly along the West right-of-way line of Parkdale Drive to its Northerly intersection with Fruitdale Drive; thence Easterly along Fruitdale Drive to its intersection with Gaffney Way; thence along the East line of Gaffney Way to its intersection with the South line of Thelma Way; thence Westerly along the South line of Thelma Way to the East line of Sky Crest Drive; thence Southerly along the East line of Sky Crest Drive to the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District.

Division #2: Kenneth Hannum, Chairperson of the Board as of August 2026. Ken has been on the Board of Directors since December 2018. Ken’s current term ends 12/31/2026.

Division Boundaries: All lands that lie within the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District, beginning at the Josephine-Jackson County line and extending from the Rogue River Northerly and Westerly to 6th Street. Also included is that portion of the District lying South of the Rogue River, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the South bank of the Rogue River with the West line of the Grants Pass Parkway; thence Southerly to the West line of Parkdale Drive; thence continuing Southerly along the West line of Parkdale Drive to its Northerly intersection with Fruitdale Drive; thence South Easterly to the West line of Gaffney Way; thence Southerly along the West line of Gaffney Way to the South line of Grandview Avenue; thence Easterly along the South line of Grandview Avenue to the West line of Sky Crest Drive; thence Southerly along the West line of Sky Crest Drive to the North line of Thelma Way; thence along the North line of Thelma Way to its intersection with Gaffney Way; thence Northerly along Gaffney Way to the North line of Fruitdale Drive; thence continuing Northerly along the Westerly line of Parkdale Drive to the point of beginning.

Division #3: Vacant at this time.

Division Boundaries: All lands lying within the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District North of the Rogue River, beginning at 6th Street and extending Westerly to the Western boundary line of the District.

Division #4: John Groves has been on the Board of Directors since December 2018. John’s current term ends 12/31/2027.

Division Boundaries: All lands lying within the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District, beginning at the South bank of the Rogue River at the West side of the Grants Pass Parkway and lying North of Highway 199 (Redwood Highway), extending Westerly to the established Western boundary of the District near the Applegate River.

Division #5: Carl Hanhart, Grants Pass, has been on the Board of Directors since December 2018. His position on the Board is Vice Chairperson. Carl’s current term ends 12/24/2027.

Division Boundaries: All lands lying within the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District, West of the following described line and South of Highway 199 (Redwood Highway): beginning at the intersection of the South bank of the Rogue River with the Grants Pass Parkway; thence Southerly to the intersection of the Grants Pass Parkway with the West right-of-way line of Parkdale Drive; thence Southerly along the West right-of-way line of Parkdale Drive to its Northerly intersection with Fruitdale Drive; thence Easterly to the intersection with Gaffney Way; thence Southerly along Gaffney Way to its intersection with Grandview Avenue; thence Westerly along Grandview Avenue to Sky Crest Drive; thence Southerly along Sky Crest Drive to the established boundary of the Grants Pass Irrigation District.

Secretary/Manager: Deborah “Debbie” Tarr, Grants Pass, Oregon. Debbie is the current manager. Debbie was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2024 as Secretary of the Board of Directors and Manager of the District at the time of Don Miller’s retirement from the District in August 2024. Debbie has lived in Grants Pass area most all of her life and is a patron of the district.
