The GPID office staff has been actively attempting to contact patrons with past due accounts, and January 5, 2026, will be the final day to reach our office to bring your account current or establish an approved payment agreement; if you are unable to pay the full balance, please call as soon as possible—we are willing to work with patrons to set up reasonable monthly payment arrangements.
Beginning January 6, 2026, the District will initiate the lien process on properties with outstanding balances. This procedure is not only costly for patrons, but it also requires substantial time and administrative effort from office staff. Please note that once a lien is filed on your property, it cannot be removed until the balance is paid in full.
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated and will help you avoid further costs as well as the potential for legal action being taken by the District.
